Lapis Lazuli Carved Stone Ring

This unusual ring is carved from a large piece of Lapis Lazuli stone. 

The smooth shank is rounded for comfort, this contrasts pleasingly with the top section which has been left irregularly textured. This shows off the 'gold' flecks which enliven the stone. 

Julia found this piece on one of her stone buying trips.
