Beaten Gold and Sapphire Necklace

This unique emerald-cut sapphire is set in 18ct white gold which is then framed by an 18ct yellow gold oval with a beaten finish and suspended on an 18ct yellow gold trace chain.

The surface of the gold has been hand-finished in Julia's distinctive hammered texture, adding richness and warmth to the metal and contrasting with the unusual facetted emerald-cut of the blue sapphire.

White gold was Julia's choice for the handmade bezel setting to complement the blue of the 1.30ct emerald-cut facetted sapphire.
