The Story
This sapphire was originally set in a traditional style cluster ring, in white gold. The client came to me to have it reset in a signature JLG style, with rich yellow gold, my characteristic rub-over settings, and a hammered texture to the main part of the shank. Polished thick borders are a contrast to the textured shank and add to the substantial, tactile effect.

The client was overjoyed with the result of this reset, and the way it has reinvigorated the stunning sapphire that was languishing unworn. See the ring pictured on her finger below.
